Sultry Wish

With graduations, birthdays, retirements and people leaving my school to move on to other jobs, I am finding myself in need of a lot of cards!

I found a little time over the past week to make a few, but didn't have time to take photos of all of them before needing to address them.

This one was my favorite though, so I had to share it. It's a best wishes card for a sub that has been on a long term assignment at our school this year. She's fantastic and will no doubt be enjoying teaching her own class in the near future. You'll be missed Lana!

The card features Basic Grey's Sultry paper. The patterns and colors on this paper are so beautiful! I have a confession to make...I can't resist patterned paper! And the paper companies make it so easy for us card makers to purchase it...those little 6x6 pads call my name!

I have much to do this week, so I don't know when I'll get a chance to post again. Until then, take care and have a super week! ~Patti

It's sad when the time comes that you're going to be missing people, but it's a nice gesture to let them know they'll be missed. And making your own card makes it fun for you...and, hopefully, a blessing to them...in the process! I think you did a BEAUTIFUL job with this card, Patti! The colors and all the shimmer from the Stickles make it so pretty and feminine. Along with the kind sentiments you no doubt included, I'm sure this card will be a treasure for Lana.

tfs! and best of luck keeping pace with your busy week ;)
