Wickedly Green

I was so happy that I felt up to stamping this afternoon. I don't know what I'm going to do when I have to go back to working every day. I'll have to attend therapy for stamp withdrawl. ;)

This card is totally inspired by the musical production, Wicked. My mom bought me tickets for my birthday! My daughter Sarah, my mom and I are going to see it in August and Sarah is so excited that she can hardly stand the wait.

My mom loves green, so I'm hoping she enjoys the card. I used my Creative Play Swirl Garden set, this time featuring the large butterfly. This set has quickly become a favorite of mine!

Going to the theatre is such a treat and I'm just thrilled that I can share it with two of my favorite people! Thanks mom, we're looking forward to spending the day with you!

Project Details

Wow...you are one blessed girl, Patti -- Chicago for the weekend AND tickets to see Wicked!! Your family must think you're something special. ;) I'm sure your mom will LOVE this card; it's gorgeous! You did a beautiful job with that butterfly and I love all the ribbons and the bling. Very pretty!! What's not to love?!

This is a great card, Patti! I love the colors, and the way you did the ribbon! Have fun at Wicked! I've seen three Broadway musicals, and one off Broadway play. Are you around NYC, or do you live in a city big enough to get the traveling shows? We live way out in the sticks. I would have to drive hours and get a room to see a big show like Wicked.

I love this color combo... it is truly WICKED. I'm so excited that you and Sarah get to go with your mom. It is a perfect grandma, mom, daughter day. I like the monochromatic effect of all of the shades of green working together. Can't wait to try it!
