CP Bear Cub

Hello! Just popping in for a quick post this afternoon. This little Bear Cub and the Wolf (featured below) are on their way to visit friends in Washington. We miss you Macie and Savannah!

My daughter Sarah assured me the Wolf card was perfect for her friend Macie. Macie's sister, Savannah is a girly-girl, so I'm hoping she enjoys my take on Creative Play's Bear Cub. Once again, I pulled my watercolor pencils and blender pen out and had a great time coloring. Coloring is so therapeutic!

When I was little, I used to love to color in coloring books. First tracing along the inside edge of the image and then carefully coloring it in, all in the same direction. Yes friends, even as a youngster, I was completely anal. To this day, my sister and I giggle about my color coordinated sock drawer. ;)

Well, now that I've revealed my secret, I'm off to enjoy the evening with my family. I hope you get to do the same. Warmly~ Patti

I love the flower behind the bear's ear. She kind of looks like she's planning a trip to Hawaii! I know the girls will enjoy a note from you and Sarah.

P.S. It is a Fiskars punch. I'm not sure if I like it yet.

This is such a darling card, Patti...not someting I'd normally equate with a nature image, but you did it! I think any girl would love to have this gussied-up bear card. And your coloring is beautiful -- your bear really looks furry! ;)
